PokerStars has announced a series of promotions, called F40, to celebrate their 40 billionth hand. On milestone games leading up to and including the 40 billionth hand PokerStars will be awarding prizes to players dealt in those hands. Prizes are being awarded on cash games,and tournaments, plus special first depositor bonuses.
Cash Games: For the cash games, prizes will be award on every millionth hand. There will be cash prizes across all their cash game tables in the days leading up to the 40 billionth hand. Players dealt into every millionth hand will win a cash prize of $40 for every VPP (VIP Player Points) they earned in the previous 40 hands played on that table. Because PokerStars wants everyone to be a winner, an extra VPP will be awarded to all players dealt in – this means you’ll win a minimum of at least $40. The winner of the hand will also get their cash prize doubled.
Tournaments: PokerStars is also including multi-table and Sit & Go tournaments in their promotion. On February 21 PokerStars will hold a $4,000,000 guaranteed multi-table tournament with a minimum $1,000,000 first place prize. For Sit & Go players, each prize level with share a $40,000 prize pool to be divided among the winners of the course of the F40 promotion.
